Deborah graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southern University. Immediately following graduation, she worked in non profit until settling into insurance underwriting, which she did until she stayed home to raise her children.
During her time at home, she also taught, tutored, and did volunteer work. Her love for organizational tasks and accuracy along with a desire to help others drew her to this new role with 3tree last year.
Deborah met her husband, John, in Athens in 2001, so they were thrilled when they got to move back to Athens in 2016. They are members at Redeemer Presbyterian Church and enjoy serving and getting to know people there as well as the larger Athens community.
When she’s not working or taking care of her family, you can find her running and exercising with friends, walking her dog or playing word games.
